Ecco alcuni estratti:
“[…] the performance as a whole communicated a sense of what on can only call serene exultancy.”
Truman Wang - Classical Voice
“What prevailed above all was a unity of purpose, the sense of an orchestra as a single instrument devoted to whatever cause was at hand. Entrances and cutoffs were faultlessly precise. Balance and Dynamics were exquisitely controlled.”
Steven Winn – San Francisco Classical Voice
“On this occasion he [Chailly] drew from his orchestra an exhilarating performance of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, cannily paced and full of passionate playing deftly corralled into a cogent rhetorical frame.”
Jeremy Eichler – The Boston Globe
"The High-octane, virtuosic interpretations of conventional repertory offered by this venerable ensemble and Riccardo Chailly, its chief conductor since 2005, rendered the evening anything but predictable.”
Vivien Schweitzer – The New York Times
